Description:What recommendations, guidance, or policy documents regarding local funding of RtI initiatives have been provided by states to their districts and schools?
 
Considerable variation occurs among states’ RtI implementation plans, as well as their stages/levels of implementation. Likewise, there is variation among the state departments of education in the guidance they provide for schools and districts regarding funding for RtI initiatives. The majority of states reviewed recommend the use of IDEA funds, title funds, or other existing federal or state funds to support RtI
